Post 62 ~ Step by Step Towards New Life in Island

From interview, accepting offer, going through medical check-up, work pass application and room confirmation; every step seems to be going smoothly. It is getting nearer and nearer for me to become a foreign worker in island.

 

Today I am tendering my resignation. In fact, yesterday was the day whereby my resignation letter was sent via email to my boss, resignation shall takes effect since yesterday. And last servicing day will be on 30th April, 2015. (smiling cheekily inside my heart, manager also have to follow my plan as stated in the letter).

 

 

Sorry to say that, usually during my resignation, I won't tell my current boss where or which organization will I going. Not to worry about being tracked in the new place, but I want to avoid any unnecessary issue in the future.

 

Every resignation, I just wish to have a great farewell with the company and of course my lovely colleagues. Of course I have not much here, I am nobody here, just a small tiny nut, I guessed majority of them don't even know my name; but the one who I had here, they are my angels. Especially my partner, Constance.

 

 

Thank you so much for being so patient with me, teaching me, guiding me, advising me. Really appreciate of all the hard work from you. I am working very well with you for the past few months. I am glad to know you as a friend.  

 

 

Constance, trust me, you are a nice girl, a great friend, a great working partner as well. I am here to wish you all the best in future.

 

 

 

Post 61 ~ Little Handsome Sebastian

Great news was spreading to my house,
hubby god dad and god mom baby was delivered via LSCS,
both mother and baby are safe and healthy.

Baby named Sebastian, he was fine, with bearable jaundice,
both mother and baby are allowed to be discharged from GH JB.

First time seeing such small new born baby.
Sebastian was only 2 day old.
He was so small, born weight was around 2kg.
face with reddish rashes and jaundice noted around the face and neck region.

 

2 weeks later, we visited them again.

 

Sebastian looked bigger with very minimal jaundice.

That's a good sign for a new born.

 

This time, I have time to carry Sebastian.

He was getting along quite well with me.

 

 

Helping god mom to change dry clean clothes for him,

helping her to take care of him while god mom and god dada are going out for some food.

 

I managed to make him smiled while I wanted to have pictures with him.

Lastly, I managed to bring him to his dream land.

 

 

And my task accomplished, passed back Sebastian to his grandma.

Bye Sebastian, auntie Winnie will come and visit you again ya...

 



Post 60 ~ An Outing for The Colourful Culture

I am a pure Malaysian, staying in Malaysia mixing around with other races. I do have Indian classmates, school mates, colleagues, friends, even my neighbour is Indian too. They are nice people. Different races and cultures doesn't block me from making friend with them.

 

I likes Indian costume, accessories,  and their traditional dances. They are so colourful and unique. I wish to know more and understand more about them. On this beautiful sunny day, hubby brought me to Little India in the island. Came to the temple, believers are having their morning prayers and worship.

 

 

I can feel their sincerity and peace while I am in the temple although I am just a visitor. Just like I am in the church with our Sunday morning church worship service. They are nice and friendly.

I can't write much as I am not really good in description of the beautiful 'scene' I saw in the temple. But I believed my pictures would be the best story teller.

 

 

 

Hubby having nice chat with the in-charge, uncle is so friendly and happily introducing the temple to us. He is welcoming us to come for shooting and visiting at anytime.

 

 

Thanks hubby for the trip, this is really a meaningful photography outing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Post 59 ~ Outram Park during CNY

This was my very first time going to Outram Park during CNY.

It was so happening with all the CNY food, CNY candies, CNY deco, and CNY songs too!!!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But our main purpose to Island was not meant for CNY shopping.

Post 58 ~ Island One Day Trip

Although Singapore is not a strange country to me, but it don't seems to be familiar to me either. Thank you to my ah jie, that I was getting an interview invitation in the island. In fact, I am looking forward for the interview.

 

Since I had moved to Johor, I had lost all my ability to earn what I was earning in KL. I am understand that I couldn't be the same anymore since day 1 I was in Johor. I felt so useless, with hubby's support, I even feel guilty, hubby is supporting me and my mom as well. I wish to build up my own financial status again while we have no children and capable to do so. After discussion and consideration, hubby supporting me to work in Singapore if there is an offer.

 

And the chance comes. I was so excited and anxious too. Sharing the news with my besties and they supported me to go ahead as well. The day comes, interview session went smoothly. Everyone seems to be very friendly and considerate during the one hour session. HR personnel had promised, she definitely will give me an answer just couple of days later.

 

This is my future working place

 

While I was having my whole day in the island, I had dated Catherine, my ex hostel mate aka course mate for a gathering. It was years we didn't meet each other since our last gathering in KL. We had our story telling session, experience sharing session, shopping and tea time session as well. Time flies. Minute by minute and hour by hour, it's time to say good bye. Thanks Catherine for the time, you looked great and wish for speedy recovery too. Pray hard, God always there with her.

 

 
 

Couple days later, I received their email and call as promised. It was a good news to call me for second meet up to discuss further for the employment issue as a foreign worker. This is really a responsible HR which I hardly see it in Johor throughout my previous interviews.
 

This round, I really have to prepare all my necessary documents in hand to get ready for my work pass application, same time to prevent unnecessary trips to Singapore again due to my carelessness of incomplete documents. Thanks to my hubby for the supports, advices and guidance. Without him, I won't be that easy to get my stuffs done step by step.

And I won't forget my mom too. She was with me while I was going for the second meet up oh! Sorry mommy, this trip a bit rush to here and there, can't really bring you for around. I knew she was tired throughout the trip with a lot of walking and train riding. I promised, sure I will bring to island again to have your happy hour with nice food and shopping ya.

 

 

Let me see, how's the process going on....

 

Job application > interview > job offered > accepted offer > medical check up : CXR, Hb, Urine FEME, doctor examination > medical report completed > working pass application > employment pass application approved > HIV screening > E-pass to be issued (think should be the last procedure).......

 

Lastly I guess is getting a room in the island. Hopefully I can find affordable room, with clean and comfortable environment, of course staying with nice people as well.

 

But I will not be able to spend more time with my hubby and momy anymore... but only weekends and holidays... this will be the sad part.....
